| Comments: | Departed St Henry's at Christmas vacation by mutual agreement in 1958. Still have many fond memories especially of my favorite Oblate, Fr. Kasper Deis and his "bullseye eraser pitch". Graduated from Marquette University High in 1959 and credit my happy and satisfying life to the good Oblate and Jesuit education I received. In retrospect I wish I had been a little more serious about my education but then that is water under the bridge. Happily married for thirty-eight years with an adult daughter and great son-in-law who presented us with a wonderful grandson. We spent thirty-six years in So Cal with a career at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems and retired in 2003 from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. It's exciting to see input from Mike White, Roger Shoenhoffen, Stan Roth, Joe Mueller, one of Father Deis' favorite students, and others. |

| Comments: | This is for those guys who attended the Oblate House at Creighton University. I am told that the university and Central High School made some kind of deal. I am not sure if it was some or some land changed hands but the short of it is that there now sits a parking lot where the Oblate House once stood. I have lots of found memories of that old house.I remember when how the staff was gone we would have bottle rocket fights in the third floor hall way. I met a lot of really great people while with the Oblates at Creighton. I am going there Wednesday to catch a ball game and am planning on driving by to see if it is really true. Later, Pepe |

I'm in central Illinois, doing labor-management relations for the Laborers International Union for northern Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska & S. Dakota (21 locals, 11,000 members), in my fifth term on the Bloomington City Council, teaching an occasional class at the University of Illinois' Insitute for Labor & Industrial Relations & editing a monthly labor publication. Married for 21 years to Kari Sandhaas with one daughter, Loretta Santejka, who just started at Illinois State U (right 'cross town)... Next time you're at the bookstore, ask for my latest: "Fiery Struggle: Illinois Fire Fighters build a union, 1901-1985" -- still trying to find out if it is even getting any circulation out there (the curse of small publishers). |

Been married to Karen for 18, I mean 8 years and have four children: Amanda 15, Anthony 12 (I'm stepdad) Stefanie 7 and Amber 5. Just built a house here in Plainfield and I have told Karen the only way I'm leaving is in a bag. Upon reading the guest book, memories came flooding back. The most rememberable is Fr.
